Four (non smoking) one bedroom one bath bungalows with fully equipped kitchen, beautifully situated on large grounds located on a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking a tropical lagoon. The upstairs bungalows open-up into balconies above the lagoon and garden areas the ground floor bungalows open up directly into garden areas. The entire villa offers spectacular views of "Lagoon del Tule" and its wild habitat. Bring your binoculars! For large groups the ground floor bungalows may be connected and turned into one large bungalow, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two sitting areas, double kitchens and dining areas. |

The swimming pool area is landscaped with shady palms, native trees and flower gardens (Villa Xochipilli has been named after the Mayan prince of flowers and the arts). There are special and secluded places to hang your hammock and read or relax in the homelike atmosphere. The owner has lots of information on beaches and restaurants. There are many other amenities ; parking on the grounds, cable t.v., for a small charge you can arrange to have food in your refrigerator when you arrive. There is a well stocked food store 1 block away run by English speaking owners. Bus to downtown Melaque (5 minutes) and to Barra de Navidad (10 minutes) is 1 1/2 blocks away. The beach is 2 1/2 blocks away. |
