The other airport is Puerto Vallarta (flights are cheaper than to Manzanillo). Take the airport taxi to the 'PRIMERA PLUS' first class bus (air-cond. and TV) which will then take you to Melaque/San Patricio. It cost around US $10, takes about 3 hours and the scenery is beautiful. From Melaque take a taxi to La Manzanilla (15 min.) also around US $10.
